If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

At home with you
Another disciple called Judas, not Judas Iscariot, asked why Jesus would show himself to them and not to the world. In his answer Jesus didn't speak about great signs. He spoke about something that happens quietly.
For this home (abode in the King James Version), John uses a word that occurs only twice in the New Testament: here, and earlier in the same conversation, where Jesus says that in his Father's house are many mansions. There it is about our place with God. Here it is about God's place with us. Whoever loves Jesus becomes a house where God lives.
Question for today
How much room do I give God to live in my life?
Prayer
Father, come with the Son and live with me. Make your home in my heart. Amen.
