What it rests on
Every Bible passage is shown first in a modern translation, clearly marked. In English this is the Berean Standard Bible (berean.bible), which is in the public domain. The Dutch, Spanish and French versions were made with AI and have not been checked by a Bible society.
One tap shows the classic translation: the King James Version, the Dutch Statenvertaling, the Spanish Reina-Valera 1909 or the French Louis Segond 1910. Those quotations are taken directly from the source text and checked word for word. The site remembers which version you choose.
Where a text is uncertain, the site says so. For example with the ending of the Lord's Prayer or the story of the first stone.
The reflections, questions and prayers were written with the help of AI and then reviewed.
What you write, save or read here stays on your own device. There is no account and nobody else can see it.
