God makes a new covenant: he writes his law on their hearts; they will all know him, and he will remember their sins no more. Ezekiel: a new heart, a new spirit, my Spirit within you.
At the Last Supper Jesus says: 'This cup is the new testament in my blood.' Hebrews 8 quotes the passage from Jeremiah in full; it is the longest Old Testament quotation in the whole New Testament.
