Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Thy will be done
God's kingdom is wherever his will is done. Not only far away in heaven, but here, on earth, in ordinary lives.
Jesus didn't only teach this prayer, he prayed it himself. In Gethsemane, just before his arrest, he said: thy will be done. It is the hardest line of the prayer, and he lived it.
Question for today
At what point do I find it hard to say: thy will be done?
Prayer
Father, let your kingdom come, in my diary and my plans as well. Your will be done, even when it is different from mine. Amen.
