You are already light
Jesus doesn't say: try to become light. He says: you are the light of the world. It is not an assignment, but a statement.
Straight after, he says that nobody lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel. The light is already there. The only question is whether you hide it. That goes for your work, your street, and a conversation with a colleague.

Where am I hiding the light that is already there?
