Woman, why does this concern us? My hour has not yet come.

Wine at a wedding
At a wedding in Cana the wine ran out. A disgrace for the couple. Mary told Jesus. His answer sounds dismissive, but Mary said to the servants: whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
Six stone water jars, together holding hundreds of litres, became wine. Good wine, even. Jesus' first sign in this Gospel isn't a healing, but a party that is saved. God cares about joy too.
Question for today
Where may God rescue my joy?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, you made wine at a wedding. Thank you that you care about my joy too. Fill what has run dry. Amen.
