What is your name?

On the other side of the lake a man lived among the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains. Night and day he cried out and cut himself. Jesus asked him his name. My name is Legion, he said, for we are many. A Roman legion numbered about five thousand soldiers.

Shortly afterwards the man sat there clothed and in his right mind. He wanted to go with Jesus. But Jesus said: go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee. The man who had lost his name got his life back.
