Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Even when you doubt
On a mountain in Galilee the eleven disciples saw Jesus again. Matthew writes honestly: but some doubted. Straight afterwards Jesus gives them the great commission.
He doesn't wait until everyone is certain. He sends doubters out into the world. And he gives them a promise to take along: I am with you alway. You don't have to be sure of everything before you can be sent.
Question for today
What step would I take if doubt were no longer a reason to wait?
Prayer
Lord, I still doubt sometimes. Yet you send me. Give me the courage to go, and the certainty that you go with me. Amen.
