Saying yes, doing no

The first son said no, but afterward he repented and went. The second said: I go, sir. And didn't. Jesus asked which of them did the will of his father.

The answer is obvious. And then Jesus tells the religious leaders that the tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom before them. It isn't what you say that counts, but what you do. And it's never too late to go from no to yes.

Question for today

Where have I said yes without doing it, or said no where I can still turn around?

Prayer

Father, I often say yes without doing it. Help me to turn around where I said no, and to do what you ask. Amen.
