Leaven
Three measures of meal is somewhere between twenty and forty litres, depending on how you count. Enough bread for a whole village. An enormous amount for one woman in a kitchen.
And a little leaven works its way through all of it. You don't see it, it works from the inside. That is how God's kingdom works: unobtrusive, patient, and in the end everywhere.
