The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.

Labourers for the harvest
Jesus saw the crowds and had compassion on them. They were weary and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.
His first reaction isn't an action plan, but a prayer. Ask the Lord of the harvest for labourers. And straight afterwards, in the next chapter, he sends out the twelve himself. Whoever prays for labourers sometimes becomes one.

Do I pray for others who give themselves to the work, and am I willing myself?
