So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

Joy no one can take
Jesus compares it to a woman giving birth. She has sorrow, because her hour is come. But once the child is born, she remembers the anguish no more, for joy that a man is born into the world.
The grief isn't explained away. It is real. But it turns into joy. And that joy nobody can take away from you.
Question for today
Which grief may I see as labour pains, leading to something new?
Prayer
Lord, sometimes I have sorrow now. Thank you that it doesn't have the last word. Give me the joy that nobody can take away. Amen.
