Not even the Son
This is a striking saying. Jesus says that he himself doesn't know when the end will come. For the first Christians, who worshipped him as the Son of God, that was uncomfortable. That is exactly why it counts as a genuine word of Jesus.
It also makes every calculation pointless. If he didn't know, no forecaster does. What remains is trust. The Father knows, and that is enough.
