My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work.

My food
The disciples came back with food and found Jesus talking with a Samaritan woman. They offered him something. He said he had already eaten. They didn't understand at all. Meat here simply means food.
Tired, he had sat down by the well. After the conversation he had new energy. Work that fits what you are made for doesn't only cost strength. It gives strength too.
Question for today
What work gives me energy instead of draining me?
Prayer
Father, let my work be food and not a burden. Let me do what you made me for. Amen.
