Let us go on to the neighboring towns so I can preach there as well, for that is why I have come.

Not staying where success is
After a busy day full of healings, Jesus got up very early, while it was still dark, and went to a solitary place to pray. Simon and the others went looking for him. All men seek for thee, they said.
It was the ideal moment to stay. But Jesus wanted to move on. He wasn't led by success or expectations, but by his mission. And he found that clarity in prayer.
Question for today
Am I led by success, or by what I am here for?
Prayer
Father, give me the clarity Jesus found in prayer. Don't let me linger where things are going well, when you are calling me on. Amen.
