Why do you strike me?

During the questioning before Annas, an officer struck Jesus in the face. Answerest thou the high priest so?

Jesus didn't hit back. But he didn't keep quiet either. He calmly asked for a reason. If I said something wrong, prove it. If not, why strike me? Turning the other cheek doesn't mean you may not name injustice.
