Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.

A mountain into the sea
The disciples saw a fig tree Jesus had cursed, dried up from the roots. Peter was astonished. Jesus spoke about faith that moves mountains.
What he adds straight away is striking. When ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any. Faith that moves mountains and a heart that holds a grudge don't go together. Sometimes forgiving is the biggest mountain.
Question for today
What mountain stands between me and someone else?
Prayer
Lord, give me faith that moves mountains. And begin with the mountain of resentment in my own heart. Amen.
