Bread from Bethlehem
The day after Jesus fed five thousand people, the crowd came looking for him again. They wanted more bread. Jesus said they were looking for the wrong thing.
Then he said: I am the bread of life. He was born in Bethlehem, and in Hebrew that name means house of bread. He doesn't only give something to eat. He gives himself.

Where am I looking for bread today that doesn't satisfy?

Lord, you are the bread that feeds me. Quiet my hunger for more and more. Let me find in you enough. Amen.
