However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.

Guided into truth
Jesus first says he still has many things to tell the disciples, but they cannot bear them now. Not everything can come at once.
The Spirit will guide them. That is a word for being on the road, step by step. For Jesus, truth isn't a pile of facts you memorise in one go. It is a road you walk with a guide.
Question for today
What can I not bear yet, and may I be patient with that?
Prayer
Spirit of truth, guide me. Not everything at once, but step by step. Let me grow in what is true. Amen.
