Go! This man is My chosen instrument to carry My name before the Gentiles and their kings, and before the people of Israel.

An unlikely choice
Jesus sent Ananias, a Christian in Damascus, to Saul. Ananias was afraid. Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints.
Jesus said: go anyway. Ananias went, laid his hands on him and said: Brother Saul. Those first words must have moved Saul deeply. Sometimes God calls you to welcome someone you would rather avoid.
Question for today
Whom should I call brother or sister, even though I am afraid?
Prayer
Lord, give me the courage of Ananias. Let me say brother to the one I feared. Amen.
