Sent far away

Paul tells how, after his conversion, he was praying in the temple in Jerusalem and fell into a trance. Jesus told him to leave the city, far away, to the nations.

When Paul told this to a crowd in Jerusalem, they listened up to that one word: Gentiles. Then the fury broke loose. The idea that God was for outsiders too was shocking. But that is exactly how the gospel went out across the world, until it reached you.
