What have you got?
Thousands of people were hungry and there was nothing to buy. The disciples wanted to send the people away. Jesus said: give ye them to eat. Impossible, they thought.
Then he asks a practical question: how many have you got? Go and see. It was very little. Five loaves and two fishes. Jesus didn't start with what was missing, but with what was there.

What do I already have in my hands that I can give to Jesus?

Lord, I often see what I don't have. Teach me to look at what is there, and to give it to you. You can make more of it. Amen.
