Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.

Nowhere to lay his head
A scribe said eagerly: Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. Jesus didn't say no. But he did tell him what it meant.
Animals have a home. He didn't. Whoever follows him has to know it isn't a comfortable road. It is honest of Jesus. He doesn't make following him sound better than it is.
Question for today
What do I actually expect when I follow Jesus?
Prayer
Lord, I want to follow you, even when things become uncertain. Let my home be with you, wherever I am. Amen.
