A new family
Jesus' family came to fetch him. They thought he was beside himself. They stood outside and sent in to call him.
Jesus looked at the people sitting around him and said: behold my mother and my brethren. It isn't a rejection of his family. Mary later stood by the cross. But he is forming a new family, in which anyone can belong.
Question for today
Who is my family in faith?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank you that I belong to your family. Make me a good brother or sister to those who believe with me. Amen.
