For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The best-known verse
This is probably the best-known verse in the Bible. In many red-letter Bibles it is printed in red. But to be honest: it isn't certain that Jesus says this himself. Ancient Greek had no quotation marks.
The conversation with Nicodemus starts a few verses earlier. Whether it turns into a reflection by the Gospel writer after verse 15 is something interpreters disagree about. Either way, it sums up what the whole Gospel is about: God gives, out of love, for everyone.
Question for today
What does it mean to me that I am part of that whole world?
Prayer
Father, you so loved the world that you gave your Son. Thank you that I am included. Let me live from that love. Amen.
