The lowest place
Jesus was a guest at a meal and saw how the guests picked the best places. He gave practical advice that is already in Proverbs: go and sit in the lowest room. Then the host can say to you: Friend, go up higher.
But it's about more than etiquette. It is how the kingdom works. Whoever makes himself great becomes small. Whoever makes himself small becomes great. Jesus showed it himself.
