Be opened
People brought Jesus a deaf man who also struggled to speak. Jesus took him aside, away from the crowd. He touched his ears and his tongue, looked up to heaven and sighed.
Then that one Aramaic word: be opened. Jesus makes no show of it. He takes the man aside, personally. Healing sometimes begins with a moment away from the crowd.

Lord, open my ears to hear you, and my mouth to speak of you. Take me aside for a moment. Amen.
