Rest a while
The disciples came back from their first mission and excitedly told what they had done. There was so much coming and going that they had no leisure so much as to eat.
Jesus doesn't say: well done, keep going. He says: come, rest a while. A desert place, a quiet spot without people. After hard work comes rest. Jesus himself regularly withdrew too.

Where is my quiet place, and when was I last there?

Lord, you see how busy I am. Take me with you to a quiet place. Let me rest a while with you. Amen.
