And you?

At Caesarea Philippi, a place with a shrine to the god Pan and a temple for the emperor, Jesus first asked what people were saying about him. The disciples named John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah.

Then it became personal: but whom say ye that I am? You can spend a long time collecting what others think. But at some point he asks you.

Question for today

Who is Jesus to me, in my own words?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, you ask me who you are. Help me to give an honest answer, and grow in me, so that my answer becomes ever richer. Amen.
