Hearing and keeping
A woman in the crowd called out: blessed is the womb that bare thee! A compliment to Mary. Jesus doesn't contradict it, but goes further.
Even more blessed is whoever hears God's word and keeps it. Keeping is more than remembering. It is cherishing, carrying it with you, living by it. Something Mary herself did: she kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
