Hungry for righteousness
Hunger and thirst are not light words. Someone who is really hungry thinks of nothing else. Jesus says: blessed is whoever longs like that for what is good and right.
For Jesus, righteousness is both personal and social. Living well before God, and doing justice to others. The promise isn't a little, but being filled. Enough.

Lord, give me a hunger for what is good. Not for more, but for what is right. And fill me, as you promise. Amen.
