Headwind
The last Beatitude ends with the same promise as the first: theirs is the kingdom. It is a frame. Everything in between belongs to that kingdom.
Jesus doesn't promise that following him will always be appreciated. Whoever does what is right sometimes meets headwind. In many countries Christians pay a high price for that today.

How do I deal with headwind because of what I believe?

Lord, be with all who are persecuted for your name. Give me courage when I meet headwind, and a heart that prays for them. Amen.
